Our school is a co-educational secondary school founded by the Government. School policies are basically devised according to the educational ordinances and policies of the Education Bureau.The School Management Committee(SMC) is the top decision-making body. Its chairperson is an official appointed by the Education Bureau. Other members include the school principal, two teacher representatives,two parent representatives, two alumni representatives and two independent members. The present chairperson of our SMC is Mr. Wai Pui Wah, Principal Education Officer (Quality Assurance) of the Education Bureau. The independent members are Professor Henry N.C. Wong, Head of New Asia College of the Chinese Univerysity of Hong Kong and Mr. Cheung Kwok Fan , Principal of Architecture Design and Research Group Limited . SMC is responsible for setting the direction of school development and approving the school budgets. The principal, with the help of two assistant principals, is responsible for the daily operation of the school. |
