　At STGSS we work hard to ensure all pupils have the opportunity to develop to the full their potential, to acquire knowledge, and to adopt a positive attitude towards their work, their lives and their community in accordance with our school motto - Love, Wisdom & Vigour.
　 Our school is a disciplined but caring environment in which we encourage each and every one of our pupils to make the best of their own abilities. While we value the remarkable academic record of our pupils, we believe it is also equally important to inculcate in them other essential qualities such as creativity, leadership, self-reliance, critical thinking and communication skills so as to prepare them for the many demands, which will be made of them in their future working lives. With this in mind, we have designed our school programmes in such a way that our pupils are able to develop to the full not only their academic talents but also to explore their own selves within the framework of a rich programme of cross-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
　 STGSS has served the community since the seventies and pupils have benefited from the high standards, impressive achievements, warm relationships, good discipline and the strong sense of purpose we offer here. We believe our efforts have succeeded in making a difference in the lives of the pupils with whom we work.
