Student Support

Committees

For student support, our most basic task is helping students get the most out of their experiences in our school. We strive to understand how students learn, what they need to learn, their goals, hopes and dreams, what their lives will be like, and what kinds of changes they will experience in their lifetime. We provide support and strive to enhance students’ experiences and promote success and achievement. Some of the support and resources we offer include the following functional committees:

  • Guidance Committee and school social workers
  • Careers Committee
  • Discipline Committee
  • Extra-curricular Activities Committee
  • Environmental Education Committee
  • Gifted Education Committee
  • Sex and Health Education Committee
  • Life Education Committee
  • Life Wide Learning and OLE Committee
  • Information Technology Committee
  • Project-based Learning Committee
  • Reading to Learn Committee
  • National Education Committee
