Visit of students and teachers from the sister school in Beijing
28 students and 3 teachers from the High School Affiliated to Beijing Institute of Technology visited STGSS and had activities with our students on 28 & 29 January 2019. On the first day, we welcomed our guests by showing them around the school. Then, they joined different STEM workshops with our S.3 students. All the students learned a lot while putting theories into practices. Students who visited Beijing in October 2018 were glad to meet their Beijing buddies again in Hong Kong this time. Students from Hong Kong and Beijing had an English lesson conducted by Ms Tang T.K. and Ms Cho W.T. and visited the Hong Kong Heritage Museum to learn about the celebrities and their history in Hong Kong.
On the second day, fifty-two S.3 students and our guests participated in the Youth Education Series – Disney’s World of Physics in Hong Kong Disneyland. They explore physical sciences and the creative design of the theme park through hands-on experiments. Everyone had a great time learning and having a reunion with their buddies from the sister school.
