Life-wide Learning and OLE Committee and Interact and Social Service Group: Animal Welfare Awareness Talk – More than Cute: Understanding and Caring for Animals
Our S4 students recently joined an inspiring Animal Welfare Awareness Talk titled “More than Cute: Understanding and Caring for Animals.” We were honored to invite Hong Kong Bunny Rescue to share their expertise on rabbit care and animal protection.
Students learned about the importance of empathy and responsibility in caring for animals. They had the special opportunity to meet and gently pet the bunnies brought by Hong Kong Bunny Rescue. The session provided not only valuable knowledge but also a chance for students to relax and connect with animals in a meaningful way.
This activity helped students deepen their understanding of animal welfare, while reminding them that compassion and care extend beyond the classroom.
