Two groups of S.5 BAFS students participated in the ‘Entrepreneurial Training cum Competition Programme’ organized by Home Affairs Department (Sha Tin) and Hong Kong Youth Power Association in November 2024. Through attending the training programme, students obtained knowledge related to financial analysis, retailing, marketing and inventory control. They had the opportunity to apply what they had learnt in the textbook to the simulation game set by the organizers.
One of the S.5 students’ groups won the first runner-up in the competition. Apart from the business knowledge learnt from the activities, they emphasized that it was a valuable experience for them to work with each other. Cooperation, communication, tolerance and support from teammates are the key factors for their success.
