The Mindshift+ Educational Programme aims to equip secondary students with knowledge of mental illnesses. Throughout the previous 18 months, 10 of our S4-5 students actively participated in various activities, like talks, workshops and visits related to mental health. With their tremendous enthusiasm in the programme, our school was awarded the Outstanding Performance Award and the Most Creative School Mental Health Project Award. The members benefited a lot from the programme. Not only could they gain more knowledge about mental health, but they could also realize the importance of breaking down prejustice against mental illnesses. In order to promote mental health extensively, the students set up some games and made floral tea for our schoolmates. Everyone was engrossed in it. Although the programme has ended, the messages of staying healthy and being aware of mental health illnesses still remain and extend beyond our school campus.
