On Friday, 13 March, our S3 Careers Talk on S4 Streaming brought together S3 students and their parents for an afternoon of insight and inspiration. The event kicked off with a warm welcome from our Assistant Principal, Miss Kwok, who introduced the senior secondary curriculum and subject options available at our school.
To guide students in making informed choices, our Careers Mistress, Miss So, shared key information about university admission requirements and helped students better understand how their subject combinations could shape their future pathways. Principal Choi then offered thought-provoking advice on selecting elective subjects, reminding everyone that passion and interest are just as important as academic strengths. She also encouraged open dialogue between parents and students to achieve mutual understanding when planning for the future.
The lively Q&A session that followed proved both engaging and enlightening, as students and parents raised thoughtful questions about curriculum structure and subject selection. To wrap up the event, Heads of Department from different elective subjects set up consultation booths to provide personalised advice and guidance.
