Our S4 students participated in a simulation game— Orange Game which was organized by the Fair Trade Hong Kong on 2nd February 2023 and 20th February 2023.
Through a role play session as a small-scale orange farmers, students experienced the dilemma faced by farmers in developing countries and found out the reason they often fell prey to hunger. Students gained understanding of Fair Trade and how Fair Trade cooperatives empower small-scale farmers. The value of empathy is infused and students learn to be more committed to the community.
