It was a nice surprise when the sun appeared in the Sports Day on 30th September, as Typhoon Signal 8 was being hoisted the day before. It was yet another time for the athletes to exhibit their sportsmanship in both track and field events and the participants were cheered on by the four Houses that filled the stadium with a festive atmosphere.
Though we do not see too many new records set this year, the Ma On Shan Sports Ground was filled with enthusiastic new faces. There was overwhelming participation from the junior forms this year.
The day of excitement was concluded with the highlight event of the Invitation Relay among alumni, teachers, parents, S6 and S7 graduate classes to express unity and harmony.
The occasion came to a close with the presentation of prizes and a speech by our guest-of-honor, Mr. CHEUNG Kwok-fan, Daniel.
