On 8 July 2025, 18 students from Secondary 3 and 4 had the remarkable opportunity to visit Morgan Stanley, one of the world’s leading financial services firms. This visit, organized by Kids4Kids, aimed to expose students to real-world career options and the dynamic environment of the finance industry.

The visit included a detailed company overview, highlighting Morgan Stanley’s core services, values and its essential role in the financial world. Following this, students participated in a speed networking session that allowed them to interact with professionals from various departments, including Human Resources, the Institutional Equity Division, the Legal and Compliance Division, Morgan Stanley Investment Management, Technology, and Operations. This fast-paced experience provided insights into different career paths and the skills required in each area.
One of the most engaging parts of the visit was the breakout sessions. In the Mergers and Acquisitions session, students stepped into the roles of corporate deal-makers, role-playing real-life business deals. This hands-on experience allowed students to understand how companies grow through acquisitions and mergers, mirroring the processes used by professionals in the industry. In another session focused on research, students learned how research teams in banks analyze markets and companies using AI technology and the most recent developments and trends in major companies.
The day concluded with a sharing session from Human Resources and a workshop on corporate communications, where students enhanced their interpersonal skills. They learned effective communication techniques that are essential for success in any professional environment as well as insights into career paths and the journey to a full-time offer, especially within the finance industry.
The Morgan Stanley company visit was an invaluable experience for our students, empowering them to envision their future career paths more clearly. Not only did they gain practical insights into various financial sectors, but also developed essential skills in networking, communication, and critical thinking.
