S6 STAR Programme Students Shine at Joint School Speaking Practice 2025-2026

The event held at Queen Elizabeth School on 21st October 2025 brought together students from Maryknoll Convent School (Secondary Section), TWGHs Kap Yan Director’s College, Queen Elizabeth School and Shatin Government Secondary School, creating a vibrant platform for collaborative learning and skill enhancement.

The speaking practice was designed to prepare our students from the English STAR Programme for the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) exam, focusing on crucial speaking skills that are essential for academic success. Through engaging activities and interactive sessions, students had the opportunity to refine their communication abilities, gain confidence, and receive constructive feedback from peers and teachers.

Participants reported that the event was not only fruitful but also meaningful, fostering camaraderie among students from different schools. By sharing their insights and experiences, students enriched their learning, making the event a valuable addition to their preparation for the HKDSE.
