9 December 2022 marked the beautiful completion of Sha Tin Government Secondary School’s 2021-22 Annual Speech Day. It was an in-house event this year, receiving only alumni and parents for guests. Following Principal Lam who delivered the annual school report, the morning was highlighted by the speech of Mr Jim Fong, our Guest of Honour, alumnus, currently Chief Investment Officer of China Tonghai Asset Management Limited and the Vice President of the Investment Department of China Tonghai Securities, who reminded us that success is not final and failure is not fatal, instilling in us all some grit and perseverance.
