To broaden students’ international perspectives and foster an interest in innovation and technology, our school organized the Seoul STEAM Tour 2026 from 28 April to 2 May. This five-day study trip provided senior secondary students with an invaluable opportunity to explore South Korea’s advancements in engineering, eco-sustainability, media and design while gaining deeper insights into its rich history and vibrant local traditions.
Throughout the tour, students conducted on-site investigations at innovative hubs like Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang, Seoul Sewerage Science Museum and Seoul Upcycling Plaza, learning firsthand about sustainable technology, green urban planning and modern design principles. Beyond scientific discovery, students broadened their academic and cultural horizons through campus visits to leading universities, broadcast studio explorations at KBS, historical tours of Gyeongbokgung Palace and National Folk Museum of Korea, and immersive cultural activities, including Gimbap DIY and traditional Hanbok experiences. This interdisciplinary programme successfully deepened students’ technological understanding while enhancing their cultural appreciation.
