本校於2018-2019學年，獲政府資助由「好心情@學校計劃」組(Joyful@school Campaign) 策劃活動，專門為中一級學生舉辦「抗逆人生訓練日營」，目的是希望學生在營中由專業社工帶領參與各項歷奇活動，加強他們面對困難的能力，並體驗團隊合作的樂趣。 是次日營分成兩部份：第一部份為分組完成歷奇任務，包括有坦克車、鯨魚尾、蜘蛛網、懸崖過木、全體登陸、大腳八及豬行萬里。七項任務都要求全組組員通力合作，積極參與，強化組員之間的溝通、信賴，建立團隊精神及解難能力。 第二部份是日營高潮，全體學生分為兩大組，各組成員需合力以徒手方式攀上高3.3米的頂牆，組員必須依照教練的指導去分工，互相配合，才能完成此項看似沒有可能的非常任務。攀爬者需要有無限勇氣及信任組員，願意踏出一步去挑戰自己，其他組員成為支持者，他們用自己的身體去守護攀爬的組員，協助他順利攀越，他們不分你我，各司其職，互相信任，目標清晰，團結一致，組員們一個一個的翻越高牆，場面既壯觀又感人。 中一級學生入學以來，逐漸適應初中校園生活；在校方的安排下，他們在11月的一天放下書包，踏出校園，在陌生環境中探索，挑戰自我。雖然天氣不似預期，沒有藍天白雲，但不減學生的興趣，從愉快的氣氛中，學習到課本以外的知識和技能。
