Learning Celebration cum Reading Carnival @ STGSS

150 150 STGSS

To recognize STGSS students’ unwavering commitment to learning despite disruptions to in-person classes, Learning Celebration cum Reading Carnival @ STGSS, a festive academic extravaganza jointly organized by the Reading to Learn Committee, STEM Education Committee, PSHE Departments, Project-based Learning Committee, E-learning Team and Interflow and Exchange Programs Team, was held on 7th May, 2021. To fully enjoy the fun at the event, participants who collected enough stamps at activity venues could redeem gifts!

Highlights of the event included hands-on STEM activities (e.g. Mobile Lab), displaying of PSHE project-based learning outcomes (Project Sha Tin & Open forum on The Suez Canal Incident) and wonderfully written book reports on cross-curricular reading, cultural exchange with our sister school in Beijing, an exhilarating AI Robot Soccer Tournament and exciting Inter-house Egg Drop Challenge.

To get into the celebratory mood of the much-anticipated 50th Anniversary of STGSS, Principal LAM spearheaded students to pilot their fleet of AI robots to the formation of the number 50.

There’s so much more to celebrate! A picture paints a thousand words, so take a look at the snapshots taken that day! At STGSS, we Strive To Guide Students to Success!
