為鼓勵學生恆常參與體育活動，協助他們建立活躍及健康的生活方式，以達致世界衞生組織所建議的體能活動量，即學生每天應累積最少60分鐘中等至劇烈強度的體能活動（簡稱MVPA60），本學年本校會與教育局體育組合作舉辦「發展活躍及健康的中學校園」計劃，共同設計有效的學與教策略，提升學生在體育課及相關延伸活動的運動量，並為學校建立更卓越的校園體育文化。 建立健康校園文化除體育課堂外，學校亦透過一系列的措施，營造有利環境，培養學生恆常參與體育活動。本校座落於城門河旁，擁有舒適及便利的環境，故我們計劃讓學生每周進行2次沿河的晨跑活動，營造體育氛圍，藉此訓練學生的體適能及培育他們堅毅的精神，並建立運動習慣。 活動詳情請參看此簡介。

第廿七屆學生會選舉投票日於2018年10月5日上午在禮堂利舉行。同日下午在黃校長及學生會顧問老師的監票下，由選舉委員會進行點票工作。經過4次重複點票後，一號候選內閣ABLAZE總票數為211票，二號候選內閣ANCHOR總票數為124票，三號候選內閣EDEN總票數為372票。最後EDEN正式當選，成為第廿七屆學生會的幹事會成員。另外，本屆代表會亦於10月12日成立，作為學生會常設監察及代表民意的組織。
